The book is divided into two parts, one third devoted to FLESH, and the remainder to SPIRIT. On occasion the two motifs happily mingle. This is not an academic study as I am not an academician. I am a lay person with an abiding interest in Henry Miller and his work. An interest I have indulged off & on for over forty years.
